And the Travel Boat Moves On

by

I saw Iguazu Falls yesterday. It isnt famous for nothing. A lot of separate, beautiful waterfalls and one big bad waterfall, which we got to go right up into. The big waterfall is called la garganta del diablo(Devils throat). The park people constructed a walkway that goes right to the edge of the cliffs which sit opposite of the main falls. Its very close, and I have video to prove it. That much water moving so close to you makes you feel like you are moving with it. Quite a spectactle. Other than the falls, the town here, puerto iguazu, has nothing to do. Kate and I fly outta here soon to go to Mendoza, in the west of Argentina, and then for Santiago, Chile. Check back mas tarde.
